All texts in the library, including translations and commentaries.
Texts are provided as XML files that follow the TEI guidelines. All of our other export types, including plain text, PDF, and EPUB, are derived from these files.
TEI files are highly structured and contain rich metadata, but they might also be too complicated for ordinary users.

All texts in the library, including translations and commentaries.
Texts are provided as plain text files and are derived by transforming our XML files, which are available for download above. While our plain text export has less structure than our TEI export, it is much easier to use.
73f5b180
Structured metadata for all texts in the library. Includes authors, collection membership, and details on source documents.
The big missing field right now is license information. Generally, any text that provides a non-null source is in the public domain. We will make this information more explicit soon.

TEI headers for all texts in the librray.
This download keeps the teiHeader elements from our XML documents and drops all other data. These headers contain rich structured metadata.
The xml:id attribute on each TEI element is the text's slug, a short identifier that can be used to find the text both on the Ambuda website and in resources like metadata.json.
