Swasti nah Pūshā Vishavedāh.

Translation:
May the successful Indra do good to us.
May Pūsha and Vishvaveda do good to us.
May Tārkshya protect us from evil.
May Brhaspati give us peace and wellbeing.
Om. May there be PEACE, PEACE, PEACE.
It is customary to repeat the Shanti Pätha at the begin-
ning and at the end of Vedic Mantras. Since the Atharva-
shīrsha is a Mantra from the Upanishads, the recital of the
Shānti Pātha is necessary and hence it has been included
here.
