ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ।

॥ इति श्रीगणपत्यथर्वशीर्ष समाप्तम् ॥

Om swasti na Indro Vrddhashravah.
Swasti nah Pusha Vishavedāh.
Swastinastärkshyo arishtanebhih.
Swasti no Brhaspatirdadhātu.
Om Shantih Shantih Shantih,

Translation:

May the successful Indra do good to us.
May Pusha and Vishvaveda do good to us.
May Tärkshya protect us from evil.

May Brhaspati give us peace and wellbeing.
Om. May there be PEACE, PEACE, PEACE.

It is customary to repeat the Shanti Pätha at the begin-
ning and at the end of Vedic Mantras. Since the Atharva-
shirsha is a Mantra from the Upanishads, the recital of the
Shanti Pātha is necessary and hence it has been included

here.
