During Pralaya when he assumes the form of a fish
(to guide the world).
Vya. This refers to Varaha incarnation.
798. The conqueror (Jayantah).
Of enemies; or he who is the cause of the conquest
(of the Devas).
799. The omniscient and victorious (Sarvavitjay!).
Over the internal foes as desire, etc., and the external
foes as Hiranyaksha and others.
(Slo. 98)
With limbs radiant like gold (Suvarnabinduh).
The Sruti (Chcha. Up., 1-6-6) says: "He having a
golden body even unto the nails"; or in whose Mantra are
the auspicious letter and Bindu (Anusvara).
Thus ends the Eighth Hundred.

801. The unruffled (Akshobhyah)

such as sound, etc., and by the foes of Devas, etc.
