YUDDHAKANDA

375

O Raghava, no person comes to grief
who recites this (hymn) when he is in peril
or is ill or in a lonely place or in fear.

Worship with concentration this god of
gods, the lord of the world. By repeating
this hymn thrice, you will obtain victory
in battles.

O mighty-armed one, in this very
moment you will kill Ravana."

Saying thus, Agastya then went as
he came.

Hearing this, the highly effulgent
Raghava then became free from anxiety.
Then well pleased, Raghava, exerting
himself, contemplated (on that hymn).
