About the commentator Srinivasasuri,
we learn
that he was the son of Venkatacharya (Somayajin) of the
Srisaila (Tirumaliyar) community; and that he was the
author of a work known as Nayamálika (see p. 59.) He
quotes copiously from Nanártharatnamála composed
about 1385 A.C. He seems to have written some other
works also.
