In this list there is mention of a Singa-Prabhu who

was the grandfather of the author of Rasaruavasudhakara.

A comparative study of the above dynastic list with an

account of the Rajamundry Reddi rulers will enable us to

see that this Singa-Prabhu was a contemporary of Şri-

Vedantacharya. The following is the summary of the

account of the Kondavidu (Krishna District) and Raja-

mundry Reddi Rulers as given by Mr. Vireşalingam

Pantulu:-

1. Polagacéma Reddi-1328-1339 A.C. (Senapati

of Prataparudra II of Orangal). Became in-

dependent in 1328, occupied Vinukonda and

ruled over it.

2. Anavema Reddi-(son of 1) 1340-1369 A.C.

His capital was Addanki (near Nellore); con-

quered Rajamundry. Built sopanavidhi for

Srisaila (near Patala-Ganga). Wrote a com-

mentary in Sanskrit on the Amaruka Kavya.
