INTRODUCTION.
 
[In the 16th volume of the Klon-rdol-gsud-hbum is is stated
the the Tibetan interpreter Nag-tshul-khring-rgyal-a, better
known as Nng-isho-lo-tsa-va, was a Tibetan scholar and traveller
who twice visited Magadba and resided for three years at She
monastery of Vikramasita for the purpose of taking Srijñāna-
Alia to Tibet. Whilo a professor in the monastery of Vikrama-
Ala in Magadha, Afisa visited Tibet in the company of Nag-tsho
in 1038 A.D.]
