Those in whom the strength of fervent piety has
reached a state of ripeness while their hearts are
devoted to thee, sport with beauteous (celestial) dam-
sels in water-sports carried on amidst loudly splashing
waves in the river Mandakini, the ripples of which
rest in the eddy-like hollows between their lady-
loves' breasts towering through the pride of love, and
the waters of which are rendered fragrant by exuda-
tion of camphor, cardamom, bark of clove trees, agaru,
sandal, and nalada root.

He who is purified by a glance of thine protects
the world of gods with his arms resplendent with
diamond, his erect horripilating form encircled by the
hollow between the dangling chain-like arms of Sacī,
his body borne in the centre of heaven itself on
a divine elephant adorned with the accoutrements
of war, his orders obeyed by the principal deities with
their crowns bent in homage.
