After a century, the situation in the philosophical

world had completely changed. Gangeshopādhyāya, The

founder of the Navya Nyāya system had introduced

a new technique as an aid for discussing the philosophical

problems. His magnum opus Tattvachintāmaṇi had cast
an influence on all the philosophical systems including

the vedanta system. All the schools of philosophy started

to make use of the Navya Nyāya technique to substantiate

their respective views. Along with the Navya Nyāya

technique the Pūrva mīmāmsa rules of interpretation
