Śivasvarodaya
If one meditates over the differences of the Svaras at the
time of transition of the Sun to the sign of Aries then the
knower of Tattvas can predict results for the whole year.
पृथिव्यादिकतत्त्वेन
दिनमासान्दजं फलम् ।
शोभनं च यथा दुष्टंव्योममा रुतवह्निभिः ॥३०६॥
If at the above time there are Earth etc., Elements then
the predictions for the year, month and day would be
auspicious and if there are Akasa, Wind or Fire Elements
then the results would be inauspicious.
सुभिक्षं राष्ट्रवृद्धिः स्याद्बहुसस्या वसुन्धरा ।
वहुवृष्टिस्तथा सौख्यं पृथ्वीतत्त्वं वहेद्यदि ॥३०७॥
If at the above ( see verse 305 ) time the Earth Element is
reigning during the day then there will be prosperity, rich
crop, sufficient rainfall and prosperous time.

अतिवृष्टिः सुभिक्षं स्यादारोग्यं सौख्यमेव च ।
बहुसस्या तथा पृथ्वी अप्तत्त्वं वैवहेद्यदि ॥३०८॥
If on the above day (ver. 305) the Water Element is flow-
ing then there will be sufficient rainfall, prosperity, freedom
from diseases, and rich crop in the fields.
दुर्भिक्षं राष्ट्रभङ्गः स्यादुत्पत्तिश्च विनश्यति ।
अल्पादल्पतरा
If the Fire Element is flowing then there would be famine,
division of the country, scanty rainfall, and destruction of
the productions.
वृष्टिरग्नितत्त्वं वहेद्यदि ॥ ३०९ ॥
उत्पातोपद्रवा भीतिरल्पा वृद्धिः स्युरीतयः ।
मेषसंक्रान्तिवेलायां व्यौमतत्त्वं वहेद्यदि ॥३१० ॥
If at the above time ( ver. 305) there is Wind Element
then there would be trouble, calamity, fear, scanty rain-
fall, and excess of insects ( such as mosquitoes etc. )
मेषसंक्रान्तिवेलायां व्योमतत्त्वं वहेद्यदि ।
तत्रापि शून्यता ज्ञेयासस्यादीनां सुखस्य च ॥३११॥
