पृथ्व्या पञ्च ह्यां वेदा गुणास्तेजो द्विवायुतः ।
नभस्येक गुणश्चैव तत्त्वज्ञानमिदं भवेत् ॥१९९॥
There are five qualities of Earth, four of Water, three of
Fire, two of Wind, and one of ākāśa, this is the knowledge
of the Tattvas ( Elements ).
फूत्कारकृत्प्रस्फुटिता विदीर्णा पतिता धरा ।
ददाति सर्वकार्येषु अवस्थासदृशं फलम् ॥२०॥
Hissing, blowing, broken and lying useless this Earth
provides results in all the works according to its condition.
धनिष्ठा रोहिणी ज्येष्ठाऽनुराधा श्रवणं तथा ।
अभि जिदत्तराषाढा पृथ्वीतत्त्वमुदाहृतम्
Dhanisthā, Rohini, Jyesthā, Anurādhā, Śravana, Abhijit,

and Uttarāṣādha are the seven lunar mansions of Earth
Element.
पूर्वापाढा तथाऽऽश्लेषा मूलमार्द्रा च रेवती ।
उत्तराभाद्रपदा तोयतत्त्वं शतभिषक् प्रिये ॥२०२॥
Pūrvāşādhī, āślesā, Mula, ārdrā, Revatī, Uttarabhādra-
pada and Satabhişa are the seven lunar mansions of Water
Element.
भरणी कृत्तिका पुष्यो मघा पूर्वा च फाल्गुनी ।
पूर्वाभाद्रपदा स्वाती तेवस्वत्त्वमिति प्रिये ॥२०३॥
Bharaņī, Krttikī, Puyşa, Maghī, Pūrvāphilgunī, Purva-
bhadrapada, and Svātī are the seven lunar mansion of Fire
Element.
विशाखोत्तरफाल्गुन्यौ हस्तचित्रे पुनर्वसुः ।
अइविनीमृगशीर्ष च वायुतत्त्वमुदाहृतम् ॥२०४॥
Vişākhā, Uttaraphālgunī, Hasta, Citrā, Punarvasu, Aśvinī
and Mrgasira are the seven lunar mansions of Wind Element.
वहन्नाडीस्थितो दूतो यत्पृच्छति शुभाशुभम् ।
तत्सर्वं सिद्धिमाप्नोति शून्ये शुन्यं न संशयः ॥२०५॥
