సామంత మండలే । శముఖు లేక గ్రీవముగను సింహాసనం బునకుఁ గోరఁ. !
బ్రస్తుతస్థితిని నీ నీ పాలన లేకున్నఁ జెడుదు" మంచని పౌరు లడలు చుండ !
నిన్ని కష్టసుఖంబుల నెంచి యెంచి విముఖమై యున్న మనసును వెనుకఁ ద్రిప్పి
యన్నరో! పట్టభద్రుండ నైతిఁ; గాని కోరి భారంబు తలను గైకొనఁగలేదు. 801

చ॥ మన జనకుండు ధాత్రి జగ మల్లున కిచ్చె నటంచు విన్నయం
తనె "తొలఁగె౯ దల౯గలుగుతద్దయు భారము; నే స్వతంత్ర జీ
వనమును నెందుఁగాని జర పక్గల; దేవుఁడు కూర్మిఁ జూచెఁ బొ"
మ్మని మది యుబ్బి పోవునటు హర్షముఁ గాంచితి సుమ్ము సోదరా!
శా॥ ఈ మేవాడ నివాసము దవిలి నేనిందున్న ష్ ణీజనం

ఆ బేమాడ్కి దలపోయునో మది నటంచే 'పర్షియా' చేరి యా
'భామాసాహి' పదాంబుజంబులకడ వర్తింపఁ గాంక్షించి యి
ప్డే మున్ముందు ప్రయాణము సలుప నుంటిక్ గంటకు ముందట".
ఉ॥ అప్పుడు కృష్ణసింహుఁడు ప్రజాళి నృపాళియు వెంటరాఁగ నే
ర్పొప్పఁగ వచ్చి "యూర కిటు లుండఁగ నేటికి! లేచి రమ్ము! నీ
విప్పృథిపీతలంబుఁ గొని యేల వలెక్ జుమి! నీవు తప్ప మా
యప్ప! యొరుల్ మహీరమణు లైనను రాజ్యము నిల్వ దీయెడ."
చ॥ అని యభిషేకముక్` సలిపి . యఙ్ఞ దుకూలముఁ గట్టఁ జేయుచుకో
గొని యిటు తెచ్చెఁ; బౌరులును "గూడదు కాదిక సింహపీఠమం

It has been said that the brahmanical religion was foreign to India, but
as to the period of importation we have but loose assertion. We can easily give
credit to various creeds and tenets of faiths being from time to time incorporated
ere the present books were compcsed; and that previously the sons of royalty alone,
possessed the office. Authorities of weight inform us of these grafts for instance,
Mr. Colebrook gives a passage in his "Indian classes." "A chief of the twice born
tribe was brought by Vishnu's eagle, from 'Saca Dwipa.' By Saca-Dwipa, Scythi
is understood of which more will be said hereafter. Ferista also translating from
ancient authorities says to the same effect, that in the reign of Mahrage, King
Kanooj, a brahmin came from Persia, who introduced magic, idolatry and
worship of the stars, so that there is no want of authority for the introduction
new tenets of faith.
