Mandṇḍala (see Mandṇḍala). He is fourth from

the Vijīgişu (Aggressor) or the King belonging

to the centre of the Mandṇḍala ; stands adjacent

to the Mitra, ally; but possesses friendship with

Ari, the enemy.
 

 
ARIMITRAMITRA--The last of the circle of allied
 

and enemy Kings. He is the ally of the ally

of the Ari, enemy. He belongs to the fringe of

the circle of allied and enemy Kings (see Man-
d
ṇ-
ala) standing beyond the Mitramitra.

(Pity) and Kaāma (Enjoyment) taken together

are called Artha-trivarga (AS' X. VII).
