qualities of Amātya (Amātya gunas) in the
same line (i.e., line 19).
 
(9) Amatya is one of the seven constituents of
the state (Saptaprakṛtis).
 
AMATYA-SAMPAT-(1) The qualities and qualifi-
cations that are desired to be possessed by
an ideal Amatya. In AS' I. 9 Kautilya enum-
erates these and they number 25 including

vadartha-dharma-Vyavahāra-darsanairanuragam

yathāvadartha-dharma, there may be a disguised suggestion
regarding the Arthopadha and the Dharmopadha in which
Suvisakha must have duly passed.
