formed remaining physically nearer to the

the four tests could be appointed ministers
(Mantrīs).*

dhanesu sthapayet. arthopadha s'uddhān samāhartṛsannidhātṛni-
cayakarmaşu. kampopadhās'uddhān Vāhyabhyantaravihārarak-
şāsu. bhyayopadhās' uddhān āsannakāryeṣu rajnah. sarvopadhā
s'uddhan mantrinah kuryuh. (AS' I. 10).
