doing in this part of the country, in the midst of all sorts of
difficulties, must evoke the admiration of Sanskritists all over the
country.

These and other research projects and the teaching work of the
Society have been receiving assistance from the Central Sanskrit
Board which deserves all praise for its efforts to rehabilitate in
the country Sanskrit, the bedrock of Indian culture.

I wish all success to Sri T. V. Viswanatha Aiyar, Secretary
of the Society, who has been building up the resources of the
Society and managing its affairs so well. I am quite sure that the
Sanskrit Education Society will ere long emerge as an active
advanced Centre of a University type for Sanskrit in the South.
