Atasiī (Linum usitatissimum Linn.) has blue flowers
( nilapusp
( nī ) shaped like nose ( kşlapuspī ) shaped like nose ( kṣumā ) and oily

seeds (tailaphala). The stem 'has fibres (valkalā)

which are the source of linen ( ksṣauma ). It is also

a potent remedy (umā ) for vātika disorders (atasī ).
