५. गणिकारिका (भा०) –गणे समूहे भवा प्रसरन्ती च ।

६. जया (भा०) – जयति रोगान् ।

८. तर्कारी (भा०) – लौकिकी संज्ञा ।

९. नादेयी (भा०) – नद्यां भवा ।

Agnimantha ( Premna mucronata Roxb. ) grows

on river sides (nădeyiī) and is of gregarious nature
( gan
( gaṇikarikā ). It has inflorescence projecting like

banner ( ketu, vaijayantī ). Its sticks were used to

produce fire by rubbing together (agnimathana,
aran
araṇī). I in sacrifices, .It conquers many diseases ( jayā,

jayantī ) and stimulates digestive fire (agnimantha ).
