नामरूपज्ञानम्
( candrikā ). Fruits are curved ( kuñcikā ) having
numerous ( bahubījā ), yellow ( pītabija ) and aro-
matic ( jātīgandhaphalā ) seeds. It is one of the
common spices which stimulates appetite and diges-
tion ( dipani, bodhinī ).
