Nāmarūpajñānam
 
Patala ( Stereospermun suaveolens DC. ) is a big
tree emerged from seeds ( phaleruhā ) and blossom-
ing in spring ( madhudūtī, alivallabhā ). Flowers are
copper-coloured ( tamrapuspī ) resembling pitcher or
kumbhī flowers ( kumbhipuspī ) with black pedu-
and
uncle ( kācasthali, krsnavrntakusumā ) and fragrant
with stable aroma ( sthiragandhā) used for scenting
water (ambuvāsinī, patala). Seeds are shaped like eye
ball (kuberāksi). It is an unfailing drug (amoghā).
