( vanavāsinī ) looking fiery (angarvallari ) and
cresty (śikhandi) when flowering and climbing in
circular way ( cakraśalyā ). Numerous legumes
(bahuphala) resemble tamarind fruit making rattling
sound when ripe ( kākaciñcā, kākanantī, guñja ) in
winter ( śitapākī ). The seeds are red (raktikā ) with
a black eye ( krsnalā ) and make a potent drug and
poison (bahuvīrya) causing loss of consciousness
in high doses ( durmohā ).
