I have read portions of Mr. Laxman Ganesh Shas-
thi verses of the same metre as the original. The
ry Lele's translation of the Meghaduta into Mara-
the original is well brought out and the Marathi is
performance is, I think, meritorious. The sense of
easy and idiomatic..
