noted by history that his people surrendered to him,
without being asked, of their own accord, and paid to him out
of their free will and volition. The sloka, “विविधसस्यविशेषनिरन्तरा ।
पुलकितेव भृशं समलक्ष्यत" (Sloka 5 in S. 5) discloses the rest of his
history. That the kingdom of Vijaya became an empire during
his regime and that he became a Mahamandaleswara (emperor)
are noted in several descriptions relating to him.
 
Thus the events in the life of Harihararaya II, described in
history bear a close resemblance to the history of Kamparaja as
delineated in this book. I have stated at the very inception that
this poetess has described Kamparaja as Harihara. This is my
conclusion. I leave it to the cultured critics to investigate and
disclose the truth to the public.
