harams to several Brahmins. He administered justice efficiently,
fed the poor and protected the weak and the afflicted. The
people, ryots, merchants and others under his rule were so
supremely satisfied with the integrity and uprightness of his
regime that in consideration of the happiness and protection
ensured to them, they voluntarily offered to pay some taxes to the minister."

Kesava Swami at Beluru describes his valour:- There was a
commander Gundappa in the service of Harihararaya. The above
inscription details his achievements.] In the several countries
