Kalidasa. Sri Pothukuchi Subrahmanya Sastri has, it must be
owned, repeated the achievement of Mallinadha. It will not be
improper to call him Apara Mallinadha. He has brought out
fully and beautifully the Bhava of the poetess. He has brought
within the understanding of the common man by his commentary
poetry which baffles the learned too. His knowledge of Vykaarana
is amazing. The manner in which he has given the gist at the end
of each sloka is the unique feature of this commentary which gives
great pleasure to a wide range of readers. Is it too much to expect
that the people, the People's Government and the pandits will
encourage this great pandit?
