पक्षपातकृतस्नेहस्स द्विघेधेवाभवज्जनः ॥
 

When Duryodhana, the king of the

Kurus, and Bhima, the greatest of men of

strength, were in the arena, the people

assembled there became as if split in twain,

with partisan attachment.
 

 
जय हे कुरुराजेति जय हे भीम इत्युत ।

पुरुषाणां सुविपुलाः प्रणादास्सहसोत्थिताः ॥
 

"Victory to you, king of the Kurus !

Victory to you, Bhima !" : thus arose, all
