॥ अथ आश्वमेधिकपर्व ॥
ASVAMEDHIKA PARVA
कृतोदको महाबाहुर्बाष्पव्याकुललोचनः ।
सोऽनुनीतो भगवता विवेश गजसाह्रयम् ॥
Having offered the manes' libation (to
Bhishma ), the mighty-armed Yudhisthira,
with tearful eyes entered Hastinapura,
after being consoled by Lord Krishna.
अन्वशासत धर्मात्मा पृथिवीं भ्रातृभिस्सह ।
यथा मनुर्महाराजो रामो दाशरथिर्यथा ।
नाधर्म्यमभवत्तत्र सर्वो धर्मरुचिर्जनः ॥
