द्रोणसुतस्तवात्मजं
 

करं करेण प्रतिपीडय सान्त्वयन् ।

'प्रसीद दुर्योधन शाम्य पाण्डवै

रलं विरोधेन घिधिगस्तु विग्रहम् ' ॥
 

Then, clasping his hand, and pacifying

Duryodhana, Asvatthaman said : "Please,

Duryodhana-

like a leopard, spoke at length after
