THE MAHABHARATA

Thinking of the Imperishable Supreme

Lord, the Lord of the god of gods, the

preceptor (of the Kauravas and the

Pandavas), Drona, visibly reached the heaven

hard to be attained even by the good.

The swarthy Drona, completely white-

haired, eighty-five of age, that old man

had moved about in the battle like a

youth of sixteen.

When Drona had been killed in the

battle, the Pandavas and the dejected

Kauravas withdrew (from the field).

THUS ENDS THE DRONA PARVA.
