सामात्यं सपरीवारं हनिष्यति धनञ्जयः ॥
"And this Karna of most evil mind,
him together with his sons, kinsmen,
ministers and attendants, Arjuna shall kill.
'क्षुद्रधर्
सहदेवो रणे क्रुद्धो हनिष्यति सबान्धवम् ॥'
a cheat
"This Sakuni, mean in nature,
and an evil-minded fellow, him together
with his kith and kin, infuriated Sahadeva
shall kill in battle."
एवमुक्ते तु
ततोऽन्तरिक्षात्सुमहत् पुष्पवर्षमवापतत् ॥
When the virtuous Draupadi spoke thus,
a very great shower of flowers fell from
the heavens.
द्रौपद्या वचनं श्रुत्वा धनुरादाय वीर्यवान् ।
सव्यसाची समुत्पत्य ताञ्छत्रून् समु
Hearing Draupadi's words, the valorous
Arjuna seized his bow, jumped up and
looked at those enemies.
