Very much troubled in mind, she arose,

and wiping her face which had turned

pale, the distressed Draupadi ran to where

the ladies of the venerable king Dhritarashtra,

the distinguished scion of Kuru, were.

 
दुश्शासनस्तामभिगर्जमानो

जग्राह केशेषु नरेन्द्रपत्नीम् ॥
 

Thundering at her, Dussasana caught

सा कृष्यमाणा नमिताङ्गयष्टि-

शनैरुवाचाथ 'रजस्वलाऽस्मि ।
