Hemacandra mentions 'जाली' at two places in his निघण्टुशेष :

Śrī Bāpālāla G. Vaidya, Principal, Occhavalala Nāzara
Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Surat, writes in his letter dated
10-12-'58 that this may probably be जालिनी, the plant of
'Luffa acutangula'. He is of opinion that the occurrence

जालि here in place of जालिनी may be the result of poetic
licence of Skt authors to use the terms like वृक्ष, लता, गुल्म etc.
in a loose synonymous way. The reference here is to the
founding of the city of Anahillapura Pāṭaṇa (modern Pāṭaṇa
in north Gujarāta ). There is a temple of Siva, known as
जाळेश्वर महादेव, on the northern bank of the river Saravati,
on the site of old Paṭaṇa. Even now a big annual fair
takes place there. It is possible that the name might
have been derived from some fe, or perhaps the same
