This page has been fully proofread once and needs a second look.
The story, in the main, is taken from Mahābhārata, but is
presented with due dramatic effect. No information is available
about the anthor, except the vague mention made in the sthāpanā
as 'करिष्यते भीमपराक्रमाख्यं काव्यं शतानन्दकवीन्द्रसूनुः । Judging from the style
of composition we should admit that this work deserves high
praise.
The edition is based on Manuscript C. O. 1694 and Trans-
cript No. 31. The manuscript was obtained from Sri K. R. Kesava
Pisharodi, Katuttrutti, Vaikam. It is in Malayalam script and
is written in palm leaves. We hope that this will be a valuable
addition to our Sanskrit series.
