'अथात्मनोऽर्थभूतस्य यतोऽनर्थपरम्परा ।
संसृतिस्तद्व्यवच्छेदो भक्त्या परमया गुरौ ॥
"It is this procession of birth and
death which causes the series of calami-
ties for the Self, the (real) object that has
to be realised by one; and the snapping
of that chain of birth and death is by
supreme devotion to the Master.
'यदा यमनुगृह्णाति भगवानात्मभावितः ।
स जहाति मतिं लोके वेदे च परिनिष्ठिताम् ॥
"When the Lord who has been realised
in one's self blesses one, he casts away
the mind that has rooted itself in the
world and sacrificial scripture.
'आस्तीर्य दर्भे: प्रागग्रैः कार्येन क्षितिमण्डलम् ।
स्तब्धो बृहद्वधान्मानी मर्म नावैषि यत्परम् ।
तत्कर्म हरितोषं यत् सा विद्या तन्मतिर्यया ।
