"I shall impart to my mother (also) the

spiritual knowledge that puts an end to

all action, whereby she too shall over-

come Fear."
 

 
एवं समुदितस्तेन वनमेव जगाम ह ॥
 

So told by Kapila, Kardama went away

to the forests.

पितरि प्रस्थितेऽरण्यं मातुः प्रियचिकीर्षया ।

तस्मिन्बिन्दुसरेऽवात्सीद्भगवान्कपिलः किल ॥

स्वसुतं देवहूत्याह 'प्रपन्नाऽन्धं तमः प्रभो ।

य आद्यो भगवान् पुंसामीश्वरो वै भवान्किल ।

लोकस्य तमसाऽन्धस्य चक्षुस्सूर्य इवोदितः ।

अथ मे देव संमोहमपाक्रष्टुं त्वमर्हसि ॥
 

Devahuti told her son: 44 Lord I am in.

the utter darkness (of nescience). You

are that prime Being, the Lord and Master
