चैद्यदेहोत्थितं ज्योतिः वासुदेवमुपाविशत् ।

जन्मत्रयानुगुणितवैरसंरब्धया धिया ।

ध्यायंस्तन्मयतां यातो भावो हि भवकारणम् ॥

The effulgence that arose out of the
body of the king of the Chedis became

ord Vasudeva. The effulgence that arose out of the
body of the king of the Chedis became

intensely (of the Lord) with Lord Vasudea mind ova. Thinking
In intensely (of the Lord) with a mind over-

whelmed by the accumulated enmity of

three births, he attained the form of the

Lord. For, indeed, mental absorption

(in a thing) makes one take its form.*
 

 
एवं सौभभं च साल्वं च दन्तवक्त्रं सहानुजम् ।

इत्वा दुर्विषहानन्यानीडितरस्सुरमानवैः ॥
 

Similarly, the Lord killed the Saubha
