मौनव्रतमथ त्यक्त्वा निश्चक्रामाम्बिकागृहात् ॥

Then, breaking her vow of silence with

that, Rukmini came out of the temple of

Ambika.

The warriors who had come there

became infatuated on seeing Rukmini of

swan-like gait, walking. As that princess

was mounting her chariot, Krishna

carried her off, even as His enemies were

looking on.

With his forces led by Rama, Krishna

slowly went out of that gathering, even

as a lion carrying off its portion would go

out of the midst of jackals.
