अरिष्टे निहते दैत्ये कृष्णेनाद्भुतकर्मणा ।

ततो मुष्टिकचाणूरशलतोशलकादिकान् ।

अमात्यान् हस्तिपांश्चैव समाहूयाह भोजराट् ॥
 

When the demon Arishta had been

killed by Krishna of wondrous deeds,

Kamsa, the Bhoja king, then called

Mushtika, Chanura, Sala, Tosalaka and

other ministers of his and his elephant-

keepers and told them:

' भो भो निशम्यतामेतद्वीरचाणूरमुष्टिकौ ।

नन्दब्व्रजे किलासाते सुतावानकदुन्दुभेः ।

रामकृष्णौ ततो मह्यं मृत्युः किल निदर्शितः ॥
 

" Hear this, O heroic Chanura and

Mushtika! In Nanda's Vraja live Rama

and Krishna, the sons of Vasudeva; from

them has death been foretold for me.
 

 
'भवद्भभ्यामिह संप्राप्तौ हन्येतां मल्ललीलया ॥
 

"They must be killed by you when

they are brought here, in the sport of

wrestling.
