तास्समादाय कालिन्द्या निर्विश्य पुलिनं विभुः ॥

तत्रारभत गोविन्दो रासक्रीडामनुत्तव्रतैः ।

स्त्रीरत्नैरन्वितः प्रीतैरन्योन्याबद्धबाहुभिः ॥

Takinord Krishna entered
the sands of the Yamuna and there beg them Lord Krishna entered
the sandsan
the sport of the Yamuna and there began
the sRasa-dance, * accomport of the Rasaani-dance, * accompani-

ed by those beautiful women who were

devoted to Him and who, in joy, had

entwined each other's arms.
 

 
कृत्वा तावन्तमात्मानं यावतीर्गोपयोषितः ।

रेमे स भगवांस्ताभिरात्मारामोऽपि लीलया ॥
 

Multiplying Himself into as many as

the women, the Lord delighted with them

in sport, though He revelled only in Him-

self.
