full translation and explanatory notes for each of the plays

is under preparation and will be published as early as practi-

cable. I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude to Dr. N. G.

Sardesai, the enthusiastic proprietor of the Oriental Book

Agency, for his readiness to undertake the publication of the
