Ambuda receives contributions from dozens of volunteer proofers, translators, and programmers who are passionate about making Sanskrit accessible to all.

Dozens of proofers have contributed to Ambuda. Here we recognize our most active contributors.

A. R. Ravindranatha Menon

Dr. A.R.R. Menon, has a PhD in Rubber Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and worked as a Scientist at the National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST), New Delhi, from 1983-2016. He holds an MA (Sanskrit) degree from Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyāpeetha, Kochi. He is associated with the Samskritabharati, Bengaluru in Sanskrit wikipedia related activities (Wikisource).

Dr. Banas Kumari Meena

Dr. Banas Kumari Meena has a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi that focuses on Advaita Vedanta and Vedic literature. Her thesis is titled “Bṛhadāraṇyakopaniṣad-śāṅkarabhāṣya mein Varṇita Mantra-Brāhmaṇa kā Viśleṣaṇa (Śatapatha Brāhmaṇa ke Viśeṣa Pariprekṣya mein).”

Dr. Mansi

Dr. Mansi’s research area is in Vedanta. She has a Ph.D. from the School of Sanskrit and Indic Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University. She is also interested in Vedas and Upanishads.

Jayashree S

Jayashree is interested in Madhva philosophy and Dasa Sahitya. She enjoys whipping up new delicacies, singing, and wows others with her crochet skills.

Jayashree Shenvi

Jayashree has an accounting degree from Bangalore University and now resides in Melbourne, Australia. She is interested in Sanskrit and is pursuing Shiksha from Samskrita Bharathi, apart from teaching a beginners course online as a volunteer with a non-profit organisation.

Ramamurthy S

Ramamurthy S is a B.E (Mech) engineer with 10 years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering and 16 years of professional experience in Information Technology. He has completed Kovida from Samskrita Bharati, Bangalore and is interested in learning advanced Samskrita and has a passion for Samskrita related works.

S Lakshminarayana Acharya

S Lakshminarayana Acharya has studied Vyakarana, Tarka, Brahma Mimamsa and Upanishads at Satyadhyana Vidyapitha, Mumbai. He also has an MA in Sahitya from RSVP, Tirupati.
