In this verse, very common ideas or popular conceptions have been given in negative order and along with their falsity their con- tradictory nature has been asserted. Definitions असत्ता या पदार्थानामभावः सोऽभिधीयते । स. ७.५ पदार्थानामविद्यमानताऽभावः । श्रृ. १० <headword>अर्थान्तरन्यास</headword> अर्थान्तरन्यासः Arthāntaranyāsaḥ: Corroboration : It is artha antara nyāsa. artha means idea or statement, antara is differ- ence; arthāntara means different but similar idea; nyāsa means corrobo- ration, support, establishment, placement etc. Therefore, any proposi- tion or idea corroborated, supported, strengthened or established by another similar statement is to be known as Arthāntaranyāsa or Corroboration.
